Policies

Please read the following in its entirety to know and understand our policies! 

 

PLEASE NOTE: ANY ORDERS WITH A LESS THAN 2 WEEK NOTICE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A RUSH FEE  NO EXCEPTIONS  

Payments/Deposits made for custom orders are tracked through our invoicing system. Any payment made will go towards the balance on the order. Please note the invoicing/cash app both charge tax and the customer is responsible for taxes if paying with a credit card, debit card or via the Cash App. The customer may avoid the taxes by paying in cash during store hours.

 

SHIPPING POLICY
Please be advised that we do not ship whole cakes, cupcakes or cookies. We only ship items in the jars. We can not guarantee that cakes, cupcakes and cookies will hold up when shipping so we do not ship them at all. If you order any of these items, you WILL be immediately refunded (Please note refunds can take 3-5 business days to return to your account based on your bank).

All orders take 5-15 business days to process and ship. Business days do NOT include weekends. It can take up to 3-4 weeks for processing and shipping during a sale and/or during a holiday season. When your order is shipped, a tracking number will be provided to you by email and your order will arrive within 2 days. We ship between Monday and Wednesday only to ensure that your order gets to you while still fresh. Only confirmed addresses will be shipped to. If your address was not confirmed your order will automatically be canceled. Then an email will be sent out to let you know that your order was refunded. We are NOT responsible for post office delays. Please contact us via email at jarsofperfection@gmail.com if your order is needed by a certain day (a rush fee may apply).

 

 

REFUND POLICY
In order to schedule your cake on your event date a 30 percent non-refundable deposit is required. Without the deposit, we will not hold your date. Priority will be given to the paying customer. Refunds are not provided for any reason. Due to our full schedule and our attention to detail, we spend many hours planning and preparing before even beginning on a cake. All payments are 100% NON REFUNDABLE.
EXCLUSIVITY POLICY
We require that all creations be provided by us. Our company will not provide a wedding cake when sheet cakes, cupcakes, groom’s cakes, cheesecakes or cake pops are provided by any other baker without our permission. We have a reputation to maintain, and it would be unfair for your guests to assume another baker’s cake was our cake. The cake provided by our company will be removed from the venue if another cake as stated above is served at your event.
 
PICKUP POLICY
If you choose to pick up your cake and transport it yourself, we are not liable or responsible for the cake once it has left the bakery/pickup location. You should prepare your vehicle so it is clean and free of items that could roll or slide into the cake. We do everything in our power to provide a well-structured cake, but please note that cakes are very fragile and break easily. Drive carefully and slowly. Any cake placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat. Please ensure the pickup vehicle it’s full air conditioned to keep the cake cool. We are not liable for a cake once it has been picked up. 
 
DELIVERY POLICY
The cost of delivery is $0.55 per mile between the event and the bakery. This cost applies to both ways of delivery (to and from). The distance will be determined by the shortest distance as calculated by Google Maps. There is a minimum delivery fee of $30.

Cancellations: If you cancel your order after your deposit has been paid, you are forfeiting your deposit. 

 

Convenience/Rush fees: Please be advised that orders with less than a two (2) week notice will be priced higher than normal orders. The fees START at $25 and may go up depending on the order.
